Undervalued Dividend Growth Stock Of The Week

February 10, 2019 by Jason Fieber 4 Comments

These pieces are published at Daily Trade Alert, which is a site that focuses on dividend growth investing, stocks, and unique investment opportunities. I’ve been writing for them for years now, and they’re just great over there. Each week, I publish an excerpt of my work here, when it’s fresh off the press. This is your opportunity to check it out. The content is totally free. I hope you enjoy!

Investing in high-quality companies for the long term has pretty much never gotten anyone in trouble.

Quite the contrary, it’s a simple concept that has made many people very wealthy.

If it’s so simple, why doesn’t everyone do it?

Well, actually producing the capital necessary to invest (via savings) can be difficult.

In addition, there’s a common misconception that keeps some investors away from world-class businesses.

APD is a great company. Back in the mid 90s they supplied all the liquid nitrogen needed to run the test equipment at the tech company I worked for. The founder of the tech co bought a huge position in APD back then if I recall APD was trading in the high 30s low 40s. He said ” APD will get rich off the nitrogen we use every day” wish I had listened to him and bought ahares as well 🙂
    Thanks for the weekly updates.

      Bob,

      Hindsight is always 20/20!

It’s a really great business. I’m happy I got in a little while back, but it’s still a great investment on a go-forward basis, based on the current dynamics and valuation. 🙂

      Cheers!

Near 3% yield with almost 10% increase for many, many years. How awesome is that. Thanks a lot for sharing!

      BHL,

Almost four straight decades of dividend increases is very awesome. Doesn’t look like that streak is going to end anytime soon. 🙂

      Thanks for dropping by!

      Best regards.
