In my nine years of producing financial content, my goal all along has been to help and inspire others to invest and achieve financial freedom.
I recently started co-producing YouTube videos toward the continuation of that endeavor.
Creating high-quality videos is a time-consuming but rewarding venture that we’re excited about. And I hope you’re enjoying these videos.
In order to help grow our new video content platform on YouTube, we’ve decided to move the portfolio and stock trades over to Patreon.
We’re dedicated to providing a high-value service. And we’re extremely thankful for your support.
Please check out the trailer for our new service HERE.
What do you think? Did you enjoy this video? Does this service interest you?
P.S. If you’re ready to achieve financial independence, check out some fantastic resources I personally used on my way to achieving financial freedom at only 33 years old.
Oooh! Interesting, and I am sure you will get plenty of people to sign up. I’ve always been a fan of your analysis and portfolio and the reasons for buying (and very rarely) selling.
I don’t know if you can share details, but are you transitioning away from DTA entirely, or will the patreon just be a different angle of it?
Will the Patreon be sort of a financial side (the buying/analysis/thoughts of stocks) and MrFree remain the personal side (life, love, pursuit of happiness, etc.) of things?
I’m always excited to see what you are doing next, and I have no doubts it’ll be fun for both you and us readers, and remain just as interesting as before.
rob,
Thanks! 🙂
No transition. I’m co-producing these YouTube videos with DTA. So we’re actually working together in an even closer fashion than before.
Most of our focus is on the video content, and this new Patreon platform for the investments aims to support that work, but we’re also doing the UDGSOW written series.
I’m just super thankful for the support. If I can continue to help and inspire, I’m all for it. Having a lot of fun with the new projects for sure.
Best regards.
Jason noooo…I loved to check your portfolio now and then and try to find some opportunities for myself. I was about to check if you have bank of america or J.P. morgan in your portfolio and for what price. It is still available but in a different manner. Thank you for sharing this info for free in the past and I wish you all the best with the new way.
cheers Sebastian
Sebastian,
Absolutely. The portfolio is still available. As you correctly note, it’s simply accessible in a different way than before.
We’re really trying to ramp up the YouTube channel and support the growth of this high-quality video content. I’d love and appreciate it if you became a Patron to get exclusive access to me and my investments. But if you decide not to sign up, that’s also okay. We’ll continue to produce the content you’ve been used to reading and watching. 🙂
Cheers!
Hi Jason,
This sounds really interesting.. I love to see new approaches to content, I’m loving the videos too!
I’ll check out the Patreon website when I get home (better network reception) but can I ask.. does this mean that when you buy (sell) stock, it’ll be detailed here and no longer on Facebook or Twitter?
I want to offer you all the support I can, you have done so much for me and the FIRE community 🙂
Cheers,
Gerard
Gerard,
I really appreciate the support. We’re doing our best to provide high-value content. I’m really glad you respect that. Means the world to me.
The portfolio updates and all stock trades will now be exclusive to Patrons. That information will not be on Twitter or Facebook.
I also answer questions at Patreon and interact with Patrons. Hope to see you over there!
Best wishes.
Out of curiosity, are you (potentially) considering annual Patreon options too? Instead of monthly, an annual or 2-year option? I suppose it might lock you into a longer obligation than you might care for, but I thought I’d ask.
rob,
We haven’t really considered something like that. The monthly subscription gives a lot of flexibility, which is attractive for people. Then there’s no pressure or long-term commitments.
Cheers.
